My imagination has lived in the 1920s (often in Paris) for almost as long as I can remember, and my interests in the fashion, music, art & architecture of that era have led to my long-standing involvement with the Art Deco Society of California. I’ve written various pieces of short fiction and non-fiction and am excited to share my first published novel.
Every vampire fiction has its own rules (it is fiction, after all), and I have shaped the genre to suit the needs of my story. My vamps are immortal, and they live by ingesting blood, but they are able to survive on a mixture of bottled animal blood and (for the most part) gentle, non-lethal tastes of humans. They also are quite fond of cocktails. You’ll discover more of their peculiarities as you read the book. Obviously, as women of fashion, they absolutely must be able to be reflected in mirrors.
